PMR English Essay : Speech

"Ways Towards Becoming An Excellent Teenager"

A very good morning to the respected headmaster, Encik Ramlee bin Abdullah, teachers and my beloved friends. This peaceful and wonderful morning, we all gather in this hallowed hall and I will be talking about "Ways Towards Becoming An Excellent Teenager".

Friends,
Do you want to be an excellent teenager or just an average teenager? How many of you want to be an excellent teenager? I am sure all of you want to be an excellent teenager. So here is how to be one.

Firstly, we must lead to a healthy life style. In order to do so, we must eat according to the balanced diet. Consume less oily food but eat more vegetable and fruit. Moreover, we must exercise at least twice a week. We also must not smoke the harmful and deadly cigarettes as they could cause many dangerous effect. Therefore, my dear friends, do not smoke a lot but eat healthily and exercise a lot.

Boys and girls,
The next step to be an excellent teenager is by choosing our friends wisely. If we chose to be friends with a smart and kind teenager, then, we will too be kind and smart like them. On the contrary, if we choose to hang out with some useless teenagers, we will too end up useless like them. So girls and boys, choose your friends wisely!

Aside from living a healthy life style and choosing our friends wisely, we must also respect the elders. Such as parents and teachers. Even the Form 5 students are counted as elders. It is very crucial for us to respect them, especially our parents since they have done a lot for us. Plus, you guys do not want to go to hell for disrespecting your elders.

Teachers and friends,
To become and excellent teenager, we must be a good listener. Listen well to our parents', teachers' or friends' advice. Our parents and teachers know better than us so we should listen to them.

Last but not least, make reading your habit. It is not necessary for us to read educational books. We can read comic books, magazine, novels or whatever tickles our fancy. What more important is that you read because by reading we can learn a lot of things.

Ladies and gentlemen,
In conclusion from my speech, we must lead a healthy lifestyle, choose our friends wisely, respect the elders, be a good listener and read a lot to become an excellent and successful teenager. That is all from me, thank you.

M.A.S Special Episode : Kem Motivasi II

Di Kem Motivasi Cahaya Gemilang...

Girls : Oh my God!!! We're actually sleeping in tent?? In the jungle??

Sarra : Gosh, what a biatch.

Mia : Who are they? Tengah-tengah hutan terlolong macam langsuir.

Alisha : Melissa. Anak Dato' Zahari. Junior. Us wannabe.

Sarra : Kau kenal?

Alisha : Unfortunately, yes. Dato' Zahari pernah kerja dengan my dad. Since dapat Dato' ni, dia berhenti and buat bisnes sendiri. His wife, her mum, Datin Melly or to be exact, Meliah, sangat-sangat annoying. Datang rumah orang, sibuk nak komen fasal furniture and deco semua. Anak dia ni pun sama spesis je. Just watch. One. Two. Three. Four...

Melissa : Kak Lisha! OMG! What are you doing here? Tak sangka boleh jumpa akak dekat sini.

Alisha memandang Mia dan Sarra dengan pandangan 'I told you so'. Mia dan Sarra cuba menahan ketawa.

Alisha : Buat apa lagi dik tengah-tengah hutan ni? Camping lah! I'm so excited!

Melissa : Excited? You gotta be serious. Geli je Mel nak tidur atas tanah. Tak selesalah.

Alisha : Well, you're staying here for the next 2 weeks. Get use to it.

Melissa : Eww. How can you say that kak? Disgusting kot. And... Is that the new limited edition Coach handbag? Mama Mel nak sangat beg ni. Mana akak dapat? Kenapa akak bawa masuk hutan ni kak?

Alisha : This? Gosh, Mel. Beg ni dah lama sangat. I mean, I bought it in New York last year. Suruhlah mama Mel cari dekat New York. Beg ni tak sampai ke Malaysia.

Melissa : Really? Wow. Eh, that sparkly purple luggage tu siapa punya? Akak?

Alisha : Nope. It belongs to Mia. And the one with huge S, belongs to Sarra. Mine, yang putih with pink diamonds tu.

Melissa : Oh my! The whole M.A.S is here? Hi, kak Mia, kak Sarra.

Mia & Sarra : Hi.

Alisha : Girls, we should make over our tent. Mel, see you around. Bye.

Melissa : We're allowed to make over our tent? Can you help me?

Alisha : Just us, Mel. Now, run along.

Setelah Melissa berlalu...

Alisha : Oh, Gosh, I hate her.

Mia : Now, that's the Lisha we know. First at the camp and you're already coming back. Welcome back darl.

Sarra : Yeah. That is sooooo Alisha.

Alisha : With her, I have to be that way. Now, let's get cracking, girls!

M.A.S Special Episode : Kem Motivasi

Alisha : Girls!! Major hot news!!

Mia & Sarra : What?!

Mia : You bought a new Coach handbag?

Sarra : New Charles & Keith heels?

Mia : A trip to Paris this school holiday?

Sarra : New boyfriend?

Alisha : No, no, no, not even close! My parents sending me off to a motivational camp this school holiday.

Mia : A-girl-whose-dad-owns-the-school-say-what?!

Sarra : Oh my God!

Alisha : Yeah. I AM GOING TO A MOTIVATIONAL CAMP! You guys really need to help me.

Mia : Can't you just say no?

Alisha : I did but they insist. Care to join me?

Mia : Err... I don't know Lish. You know me.

Sarra : Maybe we should try something new. I mean, it couldn't be all that bad.

Alisha : Yeah, I hope so. You're going Ra?

Sarra : Would love to but I'll ask my mum first. Mia? Jomlah. It could be fun.

Mia : Let me think about it first.

Sarra : Apahal parents kau tiba-tiba suruh pergi kem motivasi pula ni?

Alisha : I don't know. Diorang cakap aku dah banyak berubah. Not the same Alisha anymore. Aku tak faham apa yang berubahnya. I'm just the same.

Sarra : Aku rasa aku faham maksud parents kau.

Mia : Yeah. Memang kau dah berubah Lisha.

Alisha : What?! You guys too? Tell me. Apa yang berubah?

Mia pandang Sarra. Sarra pandang Mia. Dua-dua angguk. Alisha terpinga-pinga. Mia meneguk air liur sebelum memulakan bicara. Mia dan Sarra menarik tangan Alisha dan menggenggamnya erat.

Mia : Sha, kitorang perasan, sejak kau break up dengan Syakir, kau dah banyak sangat berubah.

Alisha : I did not!

Sarra : Just hear us okay?

Alisha : Fine then.

Mia : You actually stop hanging out with us. Setiap kali kitorang ajak kau shopping, kau selalu bagi macam-macam alasan. Result kau drop gila babi. Sedangkan we know that you're the smartest girl in school! Itu kau  kata kau tak berubah?

Alisha : Mana ada aku stop hang out dengan korang. Aku memang betul-betul busy. And about my result, soalan tu susah.

Sarra : Oh, come on! This isn't the Lisha we know. Alisha Kaisara tak pernah kata soalan susah. Siapa kau? Apa kau dah buat dengan Lisha? Kau busy buat apa Sha?

Alisha : Urusan family.

Sarra : Nonsense!

Alisha : Oh, what do you know?

Sarra : I know that my best friend, Alisha Kaisara, is not like this.

Mia : Sha... Janganlah marah. Sarra, relax. Apa yang Sarra cakap tu betul Sha. Kau bukan macam ni. Sejak kau break dengan Syakir, kau dah lain sangat. Kau selalu marah-marah. Bad mood tak ada sebab. We've been best friends for like forever, we know you. Apa dah jadi dengan kau Sha? Kenapa kau berubah sampai macam tu?

Alisha : I... Didn't... Change...

Sarra : Kau tak boleh tipu kitorang. We want the old Lisha.

Alisha : Well, she's not coming back.

Mia : Let's just go to the stupid motivational camp. Maybe you'll open your eyes wider.

Alisha : Yeah, whatever you say.

To be continued...
